Nero is a new line of ROM's developed by Team Whiskey.Currently it is still in beta, but in my opinion it could be considered a stable release. Sombionix has a few new modifications to add into the next release of Nero, and thats why this ROM is not considered final. What makes this ROM different from previous FroYo ROMs is its themed framework. This ROM has a heavily modified framework, that resembles Android 2.3 A.K.A. Gingerbread.

This ROM is a great peiece of software. It will be my daily driver untill either an update or a Gingerbread ROM comes to the Vibrant. This line of ROMs seems to be the next best thing to an actual 2.3 ROM.

Verdict: 4 out of 5, Loving this ROM, next release will probably be a 5 out of 5!

This is the first ROM i have flashed by Master™ and Devs4Android, so i wasn't quite sure what to expect. I figured the ROM would be fast and stable, which it was. What i didn't expect was to see a ROM with so much eye candy that could still preform with out a hitch. Axura has been themed HEAVILY and it looks beautiful. The theming includes awesome transition animations that i have not seen on any other ROM release to date. This ROM also gives you the option to chose your lockscreen, you can pick between four different lockscreens(puzzle lock, android lock, glass lock, and epic lock). The tone throughout this ROM seems to be choice and that is a great thing. The Devs have given you a choice of four different launchers(launcher pro, ADW, Zeam, and a custom TouchWiz launcher). It was hard for me o settle on a particular launcher at first, since they are all wonderfully integrated. Finally i decided to stick with Zeam. It lets you customize most of its features, and includes a well implemented scrollable dock! Now on to the good stuff!

Uploading Video

The Devs from Devs4Android really seem to know what they're doing and what they want from there releases. They themed this ROM extremely well, with one exception. I would have liked to see the toggles in the notification bar match the toggles for the power control app, but thats nothing major. All in all this ROM is impressive i Recommended this one.

Verdict: 4.99 out of 5, almost perfect in my opinion, tell me what you think of this one!

The Devs from Team Whiskey have done a really nice job on this ROM, as they usually do. In Obsidian V3 you'll find that TouchWiz is the launcher of choice. Now before you count this ROM out, just know it is as fast and as smooth as any other launcher, thanks to Team Whiskey. Team Whiskey has removed any lag you may remember from the old TW launcher. They also overhauled the entire UI and made it black. The UI enhancements look stunning and believe it or not give you better battery life! Team Whiskey found a great way to use TouchWiz with out it being annoying,ugly, and klunky like it is stock. There is one small issue with this ROM, the RIL settings may reset causing your phone to enter airplane mode. If this does happen to you, the fix is quite simple, just reboot your phone once and it should never happen again. Oh and one last thing! It has Voodoo5 Support! Now its time to check out the features.

• The rom with voodoo is voodoo beta 5 and DOES support larger nand chips
• Went with a black theme to reduce battery usage. Roughly 60% of battery drain is contributed to the display. Our samsung AMOLED screens can activate individual pixels, therefore, using black deactivates pixels and reduces battery drain.

This ROM is light years better than any ROM that Samsung has released to date! I rcomend this ROM to the people who like TouchWiz but at the same time want more optimization, function, and form. 

Verdict: 4.8 out of 5, Flashing this ROM will be one the best modifications you can preform on you Vibrant.

I am picking this ROM to review first because it has been my daily driver for nearly a week, and i have been loving it. This ROM is a welcomed change from the stock TouchWiz launcher and UI that come with the Vibrant. As the name of the ROM hints, the style of the ROM is intended to look similar to stock AOSP. Coming from an AOSP device like a My Touch 3g to a phone with a custom UI like the Vibrant comes with, is somewhat of an unwelcome change... for me at least. That is where this ROM comes in handy! I is heavily themed to look like the stock AOSP GUI. On top of looking sexy, this ROM is super smooth and super fast with little to no bugs, i haven't noticed a single one.

Overall this ROM is pleasing, it meshes small points of TouchWiz with an AOSP look resulting in a stripped down system that is super fast through the menus and flies through most apps.
